Can I get the Stimulus Check Even if I Didn’t File Taxes?

Eligible U.S. citizens or permanent residents who didn’t have to file taxes due or were otherwise not required to file taxes still qualify for the $1,200 stimulus check.

Please note this only applies to those who did not have to file, if you simply did not file your taxes for 2018 – 2019 but were required to, you’ll need to file taxes for 2019 first and should generally follow the directions for filers: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment.
